How to download IB ACIO Admit Card ?

IB ACIO Admit Card 2020-21 has been released by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on February 15. Exam timings will be shared with the candidates 2 days before the exam.

To download the IB ACIO admit card, candidates need to login with the user ID and password. Read below for more details on IB ACIO admit card.

Follow these steps to download IB ACIO admit card:

  1. Visit the IB official website

  2. Click the admit card link on the home page

  3. Enter registration number and password

  4. The admit card appears on the screen

  5. Download the admit card and take its printout

UPSC 2020: Vacancies

The number of vacancies to be filled through the UPSC Civil Services Exam this year is 796 (out of which 24 are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities.)

UPSC 2019: Vacancies

The number of vacancies that were filled through the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2019 was 896 (out of which 39 are reserved for candidates with benchmark disabilities). Every year, the UPSC notification released gives the number of vacancies available for the total number of posts including all the services.

UPSC Exam centers: 

The UPSC notification also gives information on the venue or centres of examination for both the prelims and the mains exams. Candidates should apply as soon as possible if they wish to receive a centre of their choice as they are allocated on a “first-apply-first-allot” basis.

UPSC Exam Fees - 2021

 The UPSC notification also gives the amount of fees that candidates have to pay while registering for the IAS exam.

  • The registration/application fee for the UPSC prelims exam is Rs.100/-, and for the mains exam is Rs.200/-.
  • Female/SC-ST/Disabled candidates are exempt from paying the fees.
  • Payment can be made while applying for the prelims exam online, either by cash mode or by online payment. Cash payment can be made by opting for the “Pay by Cash” mode and generating the Pay-in-slip. After that, the fee should be deposited the next working day at an SBI branch.
  • Candidates should pay the exam fees (unless they are exempt) well before the last date to avoid any last minute hiccups.
  • Candidates who will clear the IAS prelims will have to apply again for the mains exam. The UPSC will give out the notification for that as well. Follow the procedure as mentioned in the notification and apply for the mains before the due date.

As per UPSC Notification 2020, there are 796 vacancies which will be filled through the Civil Services Exam.
Only online application is entertained for the UPSC IAS exam as per the UPSC notification

Final Changes released for UPSC 2013

  • The government has approved modifications to the Civil Services Examination, 2013, notified on March 3that led to a nationwide uproar.
  • Certain objectionable clauses have been dropped from the March 3 Notification.
  • A candidate can now use any one regional language from the 8th Schedule of the Constitution or English as the medium of writing the examination.
  • The conditionality that there should be a minimum of 25 candidates opting for a medium and the requirementthat the language should have been the medium of examination at the graduation level have been dropped.
  • Also a candidate will now be allowed to take up literature as an optional subject (from 22 of the languages in the 8th Schedule and English) without the conditionality of his/her graduation in the literature of that language.
  • The English component (of 100 marks) from the Essay Paper has been dropped and two qualifying papers of 300 marks each in any Modern Indian Language (MIL) and in English have been restored.
  • The Essay Paper will now be of 250 marks to be written in the language of candidate’s choice.
  • Papers I and II will be only of a qualifying nature one in any MIL and another in English of 300 marks each, while Paper III will be the compulsory Essay Paper.

Pay Scale for AAO

  • Basic pay = 17240 /- per month in the scale of  17240- 840(14) –29000– 910(4) –32640 (Under  revision) + other admissible allowances as per rules.

Probation period for AAO

  • One year, extendable up to 2 years.

Guarantee Bond AAO

  • minimum period of four years from the date of joining (including probationary period) failing which,  liable to pay 100000/- (Rupees one lakh only) to the Corporation.

  • On-line test will be of objective type, multiple choices of 120 minutes (2 hrs) duration

  • General Knowledge, Current Affairs - 30 questions (60marks)
  • Computer Knowledge - 30 questions (60marks)

UPSC rumor has blasted
After many rumors, upsc released the notifications for UPSC Civil Services 2013. UPSC made no major changes but what they did good for freshers. So i analysis the official notifications and prepare this article. Before going forward, you should know about important changes.
UPSC Prelimns 2013 - No change
UPSC Mains 2013 - 4 GS papers (each 250 marks), Only 1 Optional Subject (2 papers each 250 marks) and rest of them you can read below.

Before Apply : Before going to apply for UPSC 2013, please keep followings with you.
  1. Scanned photograph - 3KB to 40 KB (.jpg format)
  2. Scanned signature - 1 KB to 40 KB  (.jpg format)
  3. FEE: (No need for Female/SC/ST/PH ) Either by Net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of  bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using any Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card for Rs100. Or by paying a fee of Rs. 100/- in any branch of SBI by cash, get challan number. 
How to apply for UPSC 2013 :
Candidates are required to apply Online by using the website http:// www.upsconline.nic.in.

Last Date:
The online Applications can be filled up to 4th of April, 2013 till 11.59 PM.

Penalty for wrong Answers :
Candidates should note that there will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

Age limits :
(a) General - 21 to 30 years on 1st August, 2013.
(b) SC/ST - relaxation of 5 years
(c) OBC - relaxation of 3 years

Number of attempts:
General - 4 attempts
OBC - 7 attempts
SC/ST - No limit
NOTE :
(i) An attempt at a Preliminary Examination shall be deemed to be an attempt at the Examination.
(ii) If a candidate actually appears in any one paper in the Preliminary Examination, he/she shall be deemed to have made an attempt at the Examination.
(iii) Notwithstanding the disqualification/cancellation of candidature, the fact of appearance of the candidate at the examination will count as an attempt.

  2. History of India and Indian National Movement.
  3. Indian and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
  4. Indian Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights
  5. Issues, etc.
  6. Economic and Social Development Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics,
  7. Social Sector initiatives, etc.
  8. General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change - that do not require
  9. subject specialization.
  10. General Science.
Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: 2 hours
  1. Comprehension
  2. Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
  3. Logical reasoning and analytical ability
  4. Decision-making and problem-solving
  5. General mental ability
  6. Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data
  7. interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level)
  8. English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).

Note 2 : The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type.
